Soul Circle Paranormal is committed to offering smaller events that allow for people to more readily interact with the special guests and to make meaningful connections.
This event is special to us because it's a smaller version of Com-Con which allows us to be even more intentional in our networking and making connections!
3/12/25 Update- Washoe Con 2025 is officially sold out! Please come see us at Com-Con 8 or a future event! The payment link has been removed for event tickets, but you can still purchase the add-on tickets for the Knights of Pythias investigations below.
Welcome to Washoe Con!
Please note that for this event, in order to offer two nights of investigations there is no night that is set aside to just check out the various saloons in town. If you want a night to drink and hang out, it may be a good idea to come to town on Thursday night.
As you can see, there is plenty of free time built into this event during the day Friday to allow you time in town to visit the shops, take the tours, and see the sights. After all, one of the primary reasons we host events in Virginia City is to bring people to town to support the businesses. On Friday night, once you have checked in there will be a few hours spent getting to know each other and mingling at The Washoe Club. Our special guests and sponsors will be available at this time to sell merch and sign things for you as well as to take photos.
Saturday is our day for talks and the Bats In The Belfry Tour. There will be presentations from our special guests and time for you to ask questions.
We will be investigating each night, and you will be put into two teams which will rotate between locations. You can expect to be in a group of about 10-15 people, and you will rotate between the locations after spending time in each one. You will have 15-30 minutes to pass between locations. If you have equipment, you are welcome to bring it. But since we rotate between locations there isn’t a lot of time to set up stationary equipment. You will have an opportunity to investigate with each of the special guests at the event. This event is smaller than the Com-Con event in October and is meant to focus more on The Washoe Club as a location. However, we will include at least one other special location for investigation and will also offer add-on tickets to the Knights of Pythias Building for small groups who want to break off from their assigned groups during the rotations and get another location into their schedule. (This does mean you would be skipping that part of your rotation to investigate the add-on location.)
The add-on location, Knights of Pythias, is a hard to book building in town. It is the upstairs that we have access to and is one large room at the top of a flight of stairs. We have had some wild experiences in this space, and the smaller the group the better the results seem to be. You could bring a few folks in, up to ten to divide the cost up further, or go in solo and see what happens! The time is yours, and there will NOT be a facilitator or special guest present for this add-on location.
The Washoe Club is near and dear to our hearts and will be the primary location we are investigating. Each group will take a floor and spend time investigating the various rooms and then will rotate to the next floor. This is a well-known haunted location, and we have had countless experiences here.
We are excited to be able to offer the Silver Terrace Cemetery as a location for Washoe-Con. It took some doing, as they are not wanting to allow groups in there after dark anymore. So, this is really a special opportunity for ticket holders of this event. You will get to wander the vast cemetery and are welcome to RESPECTFULLY investigate, and we ask that you stay in small groups despite the enormity of the space you can spread out into because the cemetery is a favorite hangout for the local mountain lions.
You can opt out of any location if you are tired or need a break. The Washoe Club is a great spot to rest and recover! Just make sure to monitor your ability to rejoin your group if you choose to drink while taking a break from the investigation rotations. For some folks, midnight to 1am is way past bedtime and we often see group sizes dwindle towards the end of the rotations… and that’s alright! That’s why we do some locations both nights. If you skip one night, you’ll still have a shot at it the other night.
Please keep in mind that though we strive to keep our investigation group sizes smaller than you might find at other events… some of our locations are also much less sprawling due to the historic nature of the buildings in Virginia City. 10 people in a single room can still feel like a lot when you’re investigating! For that reason, we recommend seeing this (and any other event investigation) as an opportunity to engage with the special guests and investigate with them, check out their techniques and that of the others in your group, and share insight about equipment and methods… but not to expect the same conditions you might have on a private investigation where you can control the variables in the room more efficiently. We still get evidence and personal experiences in event investigations, but we also want to help manage expectations!
Also… THERE ARE STAIRS! Virginia City is perched on the side of the mountain, and the buildings have steep stairs and no elevators. Everything in town is walkable if you don’t mind the inclines, but many choose to drive and take part in the great search for ideal parking. Our investigation locations all have steps, and you will need to be able to navigate them to access the investigations. Don’t worry, nobody will hear you gasping for breath because my huffing and puffing will drown yours out. (Side note… if Shane Pittman asks you to carry him up a hill you are not obligated to say yes.)
This event, like any other Soul Circle Paranormal event, is a chance to network with other likeminded people and to form connections to each other that last well beyond the time we will spend in Virginia City. That is, at the heart of it, what these events are about for us. You will always find that we keep the group smaller than traditional events, because this is not about making money. It’s about making memories, and we can’t wait to make some with you at the event.
There will be a QR code to link you to a copy of the virtual schedule and other event specific information at registration. If you are a Washoe Club Member already, please bring your card with you to registration.
Please reach out to me with any questions that you have.
See you soon!

Notes: These add-on investigation options are NOT facilitated by any of our special guests or talent. You will be conducting your own investigation and will need to provide your own equipment. This is a small space (one room), so small groups tend to get better results.
Atlanta, Indiana
This is a one day/night adventure at Roads Hotel in Atlanta Indiana with Chad Lindberg and Shane Pittman. In order to accommodate the smaller sizes of our three investigation locations, we will be capping this event at no more than 45 attendees.
INVESTIGATION INFO:
Guests will arrive on Saturday May 31st in the afternoon and get checked in. There will be time for a meet n' greet, daytime tours of the locations, and a Q&A with Chad and Shane before we start the nighttime investigations.
Since each location only accommodates about 15 people at a time, you will be broken into three groups which will rotate between Roads Hotel, Asher Walton House, and the Dolles Park Shelter House. You will be at each location for about an hour before you move on to the next. Every group will get an opportunity to investigate with both Chad and Shane at one of the locations. The other locations will be self-led investigations.
If you have equipment, you are welcome to bring it. But since we rotate between locations there isn’t a lot of time to set up stationary equipment. Therefore, we suggest smaller and more portable equipment for this one.
Please keep in mind that though we strive to keep our investigation group sizes smaller than you might find at other events… some of our locations are also much less sprawling. 10-15 people in a single room can still feel like a lot when you’re investigating! LODGING INFO:
Lodging IS NOT INCLUDED in the $179 standard ticket price.
There are a handful of rooms available at Roads Hotel and a few more at Asher Walton House for those who want to purchase a VIP Ticket. These tickets will include lodging for Saturday night at either Roads or Asher Walton, and a 45-minute (ish) wind down chat with Chad and Shane at Roads after event wrap up. Those who are staying at Roads will then head to their rooms, and those staying at Asher Walton will head there for the night. You are then welcome to continue investigating IN THE LOCATION YOU ARE LODGED IN if you want, as long as it isn't disruptive to those who have already called it a night.
If you choose to have someone share a room with you in a Queen or Full room, the price is PER OCCUPANT, not per room (Maximum 2 people per room) and you would each buy a VIP Ticket. This would apply to couples or friends traveling together, you will not be housed with a stranger. There is no requirement that you bunk up with someone else in a room with one bed if you are traveling by yourself, you will just pay for your one ticket and let us know you are not traveling with a companion.
These rooms are first come first served, and we anticipate they will go quickly!
PLEASE NOTE that bathrooms at Roads and Asher Walton are shared. There is not a bathroom attached to each room. You will need to be comfortable with sharing showers, toilets, and sinks with the other folks staying there.
The room options available with lodging included are:
Roads-
1 Queen Bed- $329 VIP Ticket per occupant
1Queen Bed- $329 VIP Ticket per occupant
